The third and final stage of the 3 Days Clover Trail concluded today with an exciting finish in Vallehermoso, where runners once again demonstrated their tenacity and skill in the challenging yet beautiful conditions of La Gomera.
This last stage offered a daytime route of 10 kilometers that challenged athletes with a positive elevation gain of 638 meters, starting and finishing at the Town Hall of Vallehermoso.
After the time change, participants began running at 09:00, and from the very beginning, the competition did not disappoint: Álvaro Escuela Perdomo of the Arista Pro Team reaffirmed his position as the standout of this edition, achieving a clean sweep of victories. On this occasion, he secured the win with an impressive time of 00:51:31. Edwin Camacho Pérez of C.D. Hilera followed closely, crossing the finish line in 00:52:19. Marco Rodríguez García was third with a time of 00:53:21.
In the women’s 10 kilometers category, Estela Guerra Almeida, also from the Arista Pro Team, demonstrated her dominance with a convincing victory, finishing in 01:07:46 and consolidating her outstanding performance throughout the race.
Irene Picon Hernandez from the Ashi Team took second place with a time of 01:14:43, while Adelma Perdomo from C.D. El Fogueo completed the podium with a time of 01:21:39.
Overall, Álvaro Escuela Perdomo and Estela Guerra Almeida shone brightly, showcasing their skill on the challenging terrain of La Gomera. With these performances, they were crowned the undisputed champions of the 3 Days Clover Trail, leaving an indelible mark on this edition of the event.
